Crisil`s ratings on the debt instruments of Philips Electronics India (Philips
India) continue to reflect Philips India`s
comfortable financial risk profile, leading market position in illumination
devices such as lights, and the strong support the company receives from its
parent Koninklijke Philips Electronics NV (KPNEV, rated `A-/Stable/A-2` by
Standard & Poor`s). These rating strengths are partially offset by the
intense competition in the consumer lifestyle segment, leading to unstable
profitability for the division.

ATF Prices increased by an average of Rs 3,400 per kilolitre

oil firms hiked jet fuel prices by nine percent to over Rs
39,000 per kilolitre following a spurt in international oil rates.
Turbine Fuel prices will be increased by an average of Rs 3,400 per
kilolitre effective Saturday midnight, an official of the Indian Oil
Corp (IOC), the nation`s largest oil firm, said.

The dollar itself is under attack
Then, Argentina "dollarised" the economy. The Argentine central bank

accretions to forex reserves.

Markets are selling in last hour of trading , what does that mean. Certainly this is not good news for traders in short term. Institutions are booking profit and volume is high.
As far as investors is concerned , its all a game of stock picking. Pick good stocks for medium term and you will be better off. Time to focus on good midcap stocks , both large cap and small cap are overstrected.
