India hotels in decent stock but it's balance sheet is full with debt. If you care about quality at all. Yes they have good properties around the world and European economy is big factor.
I don't expect it to hit 140 in next 6month to 1 year though. Why ?
At current price of 100Rs it's market cap is 7300 Cr and no profit. If it has to reach 140 that clearly means market cap should go to 9000 Cr. For a decent P/E of 30 company will have to show profit of 300Cr. That is not possible because it has debt of 4500Cr. Even if you consider 8% interest rate. They will be paying 320 Cr in interest cost. Hence to make net profit of 300Cr they have to earn 300+320=620 Cr.
Sales turnover was 2600 Cr . To make 620 Cr profit margin of 25% is required. I think it will be difficult to achieve that kind of margin in hospitality sector unless demand for 5 star hotels shoots up prices and room rates.
