Realty is back in limelight again, new projects are coming up and stock prices of Unitech, DLF , Omax zoomed by 300% in 6 month. While you don't want to miss the opportunity to ride the boom, risk remains high. We all know very well that over construction is visible everywhere. I won't recommned getting into realty stocks but there are stocks which can benefit from this boom.

1. Asian Paints : Asian paint is riding the boom in construction spending. Double digit growth and increasing margins in decorative paint segment is helping bottom line of this tata company. In the current year asian paints  is expected to turn in revenues of Rs 6,200 crore, a growth of 13-14 per cent over 2008-09.

2. HSIL Industries : Earlier called hindustan sanitaryware, is another company who benefits at early stage in construction industry.  Company is riding realty boom with strong sales on all front.

3. Pidilite : Makers of favicol and other construction materials. Strong brand make sures pricing and margin. At current price of Rs 150 stock is trading at p/e of 34 but as business returns to normal this year margin and bottom line expected to get big boost. A definite buy for your portfolio.
