Real estate investments returned with fun fare after 1 year of lackluster . Should I invest in propety is question to many of us , I don’t mean real estate stocks, but buying actual real estate purely as an investment. However I think investor should be more cautious simply due to stretched valuation and unaffordable pricing.
Don't blidnly trust the myth that real estate never fall. Some of my friends bought properties in Bangalore and Hyderabad during peak of 08 and now they are sitting on loss of more than 20% and still no buyers.
Consider that bad real estate investment becomes illiquid very fast. You loose money and still can not book loss. While in stocks you can easily sell at loss and move on.
