When looking at long term investment non cyclical stocks are best options. There is low risk in getting into these stocks at wrong time.

1. Britannia Industries: All of us know very well that Britannia has established very well in India household with strong brand presence. Management is showing innovation by coming with ideas to push products into younger generation. Great brand brings great pricing power and hence better margin. This stock deserve a position in five star portfoli.

2. Apollo Healthcare : Healthcare and hospital is not a cyclical industry, it demands high capital investment but returns are hefty.

3. Castrol India : Strong brand and high quality product comes from castrol. This company has huge potential. I mean huge. Buy it today look back after 10 years from now your money will be 10 fold. Money doesn't grow on tree but it grows in castrol. They have almost 0 debt no loans.

Note: These are long term investments , if you buy these stocks don't look prices on daily basis and loose your heart.
